The NFL has announced that Cowboys DT Jason Hatcher will replace Haloti Ngata.

Haloti Ngata isn’t headed to Hawaii.

On Thursday afternoon, Cowboys defensive tackle Jason Hatcher broke news on Twitter that he’s been named a Pro Bowler.

He’s replacing Ngata, who was voted by fans, players and coaches to his fifth-straight Pro Bowl. It’s the first non-conference Pro Bowl, so an NFC player can replace one from the AFC.

Ngata declined to go to Hawaii because he and his wife are expecting their third son to be born on Tuesday.

Ngata finished the season with 52 tackles and 1.5 sacks. It was his lowest sack total since 2009, but he was still a “dominant” force inside, according to Head Coach John Harbaugh.

Hatcher, 31, has spent eight years with the Dallas Cowboys and never been voted to a Pro Bowl. He had a breakout 2013 season, notching 41 tackles and a career-high 11 sacks.

The Ravens still have kicker Justin Tucker, outside linebacker Terrell Suggs and guard Marshal Yanda as Pro Bowlers.
